Your younger self still knows how to dream
I saw a young girl journaling by the creek- it reminded me of me.
When you’re young, no one bats an eye when you take time for yourself, your thoughts, your dreams. No one calls you selfish or yells at you for playing make believe.
And the most magical thing, in adulthood is you can keep pretending, imagining, daydreaming. Even if it wasn’t safe to do as a kid- teach yourself now you’re safe to believe. To see the magic within gratitude and every woman or man you’ve grown up to be.
So when you see a little one, and it reminds you of a younger time- observe and recreate it in adulthood- because after all… don't we all have this one life?
