Emptiness, a beautiful space
Emptiness.
A space.
An opening.
Grief.
Darkness.
Room to expand.
Room to reflect.
Room to regrow.
Space to redecorate,
This time as your own.
I hated the feeling at first, and I often still get discomfort with this feeling. The sense of loneliness that leaves you feeling lost, scared, confused yet exhilarated by the idea of this new space. Because as isolating and dreadful as this empty room looks, as uncomfortable as it feels, when we shift our perspective of the new space, we can see the opportunity bubbling beneath it.
When you sit in the uncomfortableness of the room, and truly look around and see it for all it is- a blank canvas. A space to dry your wings besides your paintbrushes. A darkness that has been patiently waiting for you to add your light.
Sit within it.
Do not try to fill the room before you are ready.
Darling, I promise you have time.
Sit with it. Feel it. Then, my dear, your intuition will tell you when to begin.
